Why Are You Excluding 20% Of Your Prospects? - BPMP #89
Show Notes

Today we ask the question - Why are you excluding about 20% of your potential prospects?

You’ve invested hard-earned money in your website, marketing, and advertising and yet you probably aren’t even aware that you’re excluding about 1 in 5 of your potential prospects who have nearly $500 billion in after-tax disposable income.

That’s because your website is most likely excluding the 1-in-5 U.S adults that live with a disability.

That’s roughly 61 million people with $490 billion in after-tax disposable income for working-age Americans with disabilities.

And your website is most likely unreadable or unusable to most of them and therefore ignoring them and unable to do business with them.

Another reason to make your website accessible is to avoid lawsuits, which are growing across the country.

2,352 web accessibility lawsuits were filed in 2021, a 14.3% increase from 2020 (according to accessibility.com).

Most of those lawsuits were filed in New York, Florida, and California

And most of those lawsuits settled out of court do avoid the high cost of litigation.

Learn what you can do to make your site accessible and avoid those lawsuits in today’s podcast.
